Tylan 200 (Tylosin) Swine and Cattle Antibiotic
Description
Tylan 200 (often referred to as Tylosin) is an excellent fast acting antibiotic treatment for both swine and cattle for a variety of conditions.
In swine, Tylan 200 use is indicated for the treatment of mycoplasmal swine arthritis, swine pneumonia, swine erysipelas and swine dysentery when followed by appropriate medication in the drinking water and/or feed in swine.
Administered via intramuscular injection for the treatment of bovine respiratory complex (shipping fever and pneumonia), foot rot (necrotic pododermatitis), calf diphtheria and metritis in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle.
For treatment of conditions in swine weighing less than 25 pounds, treatment with Tylan 50 is recommended.
