Enterisol Ileitis Vaccine is used on healthy, susceptible swine and piglets 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of porcine proliferative enteropathy (Ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis.
In clinical studies, the Enterisol Ileitis vaccine against Lawsonia Intracellularis significantly prevented gross and microscopic intestinal lesions of Ileitis and significantly prevented colonization of virulent L. intracellularis after challenge.
Rehydrate the vaccine by adding the full contents of the accompanying sterile water diluent to the vaccine vial. Mix gently until contents are completely dissolved and use entire contents immediately.
Vaccination can take place via:
(1) Oral drenching - Administer a single dose orally. The dose volume is as follows: • 50 dose/100 mL presentation: one 2 mL dose per pig. • 100 dose/100 mL presentation: one 1 mL dose per pig.
(2) Drinking water distribution Non-frozen.
