Mild laxative for the lubrication of the intestinal tract, mineral oil is useful in treating bloat, intestinal impaction and grain overload.
Care must be followed in the administration of mineral oil to livestock to avoid aspiration into the lungs and possible foreign body pneumonia.
Dosage rate:
One pint orally per 50# of body weight.
