D3 Needles

Description

Neogen®'s D3 needle is a leader when it comes to meat industry safety, with its thick stainless steel wall that is up to 100% detectable in metal detection systems.
These detectable needles are ultra-sharp with maximum precision ground tips for sharper cuts and easier penetration and may be used as sterile disposable or reusable needles.

D3 needles have a detectable thick wall stainless steel cannula which is up to 100% detectable by detectors. Made with thick-walled cannulas and plated brass hubs, these needles contain more metal alloy making broken needles more available for detection at harvest.
Recommended by PQA standards, these high detection needles have a strong connection at the hub and the thick needle wall reduces tip burring.
