Meet Our New Swine Veterinarians

As Pipestone Veterinary Services continues to grow and improve we are finding the need for additional veterinary support. We would like to introduce our newest veterinarians to the team and more specifically, one locally in your area.

Dr. Brent Pepin is from central Minnesota and a 2014 graduate of Iowa State Veterinary School, where he obtained his Master’s degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine.  Dr. Pepin practiced swine and dairy medicine after graduation in NE Iowa before joining Pipestone Veterinary Services in May 2018. Dr. Pepin will be practicing out of our Pipestone, MN location.

Dr. Brent Sexton grew up on a farm near Rockwell City, Iowa. He was active in both 4-H and FFA which he credits for his desire to become a veterinarian. Brent attended Iowa State University where he completed both his degree in animal science and his degree in veterinary medicine. Dr. Sexton’s primary interests are infectious swine diseases, diagnostics interpretation, and swine production. Go Cyclones. Dr. Sexton will be practicing out of our Independence, IA location.

Dr. Andrew DeBoer received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Trinity Christian College in 2014.  He then attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.  He joined the Pipestone Veterinary Services team in May 2018.

Dr. DeBoer enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Megan, and their two children, Gwen and Zac.  Together, they enjoy camping and boating.  They reside in DeMotte, Indiana, where both Andrew and Megan grew up.

All three new veterinarians share Pipestone’s passion for animal care and our mission of Helping Farmers Today Create the Farms of Tomorrow. The addition of Dr. Brent Pepin, Dr. Brent Sexton, and Dr. Andrew DeBoer will allow us to better serve our customers.

We are very excited to welcome Dr. Pepin, Dr. Sexton, and Dr. DeBoer to the team!
